In this virtual training, participants will learn how to conduct a Safety Planning Intervention meeting and create a safety plan for students who have a history of suicidal behavior, recent history of suicidal ideation, or who have been determined to be at risk of suicide. This brief intervention includes specific steps that are personalized to the individual's unique experience.
AS+K Training is a prerequisite for this course. Both courses may be taken on the same day, or participants may have already completed AS+K on a previous date.
