NcMEC: Working Together to Protect Kids Online
Share
In this session, representatives from the
National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
highlight how collaborative networks across schools, community leaders, public safety, and tech organizations drive effective digital safety.
Attendees will gain insight into current online threat trends identified through NCMEC’s CyberTipline data and discover how to implement NCMEC's free, age-appropriate prevention resources (such as
NetSmartz
and
KidSmartz
) into classrooms and home conversations.
Learn practical strategies to empower youth to make safer decisions, identify red flags, and access reporting mechanisms when harmful situations arise.
