STAAR: Leading Intentional Intervention




In this workshop, campus/district leaders and teacher leaders will work on how to leverage local data analysis, previous STAAR data, and focus standards to plan intentionally for intervention that supports all students. Participants will learn: ways to use state and local data to design effective intervention groups; strategies for addressing the needs of identified groups for increased student performance; how to utilize the index 2 progress measure to identify “what is working” in existing intervention plans and how to adapt those plans for the highest yield; how to utilize performance thresholds and the index 2 progress measure to facilitate student goal setting and monitoring of their own progress.
