English Learner Assessments: LPAC Decision-Making Process for STAAR and TELPAS




This session will provide training for the Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) regarding decision-making for the Texas Assessment Program. The session will cover the process that the LPAC must follow to make assessment decisions for Limited English Proficient (LEP) students for spring assessments including the STAAR and TELPAS. The training will highlight best practices in selecting assessment options and accommodations for LEP students.
