ELL Summer Series: Strategies for Teaching Math to English Language Learners




The goal of this professional development is to provide mathematics teachers with: a brief overview of second language acquisition theory, information about cultural differences, effective strategies for differentiating instruction for English Language Learners (ELLs), strategies to align instruction with the TEKS in a manner which supports ELLs, and opportunities to network and dialogue with colleagues.

Participant who are associated with a district that is a member of the Title III SSA will be able to attend free of charge.
