8TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES STAAR INSTITUTE DAY 2: CONSTITUTION, EARLY REPUBLIC, AGE OF JACKSON




The 8th Grade STAAR Institute consists of 4 independent trainings that focus on the best ways to present the content to insure student learning and improvement on STAAR. Participants will explore the TEKS to determine the major concepts and themes and determine how to focus the learning to increase student achievement. Resources specific to the content will be presented, along with strategies on their implementation. This training meets the research based Critical Success Factors 1, 2, 4, and 7.

Important Workshop Information:


For districts participating in the Instructional Support, Title II, contracts there will be no charge, the charge will be removed at checkout. CSF 1, 2, 5, 7 will be addressed.
