Trainings: Session Detail

Exploring the Writing Process and Conferences

"I'm not a writer" is a phrase uttered by teachers who never had the opportunity to experience what it feels like to move through the entire process to create an authentic text. In this session, we will begin with brainstorming, methods, followed by mentor texts, peer feedback, revisions and edits. By the end of this session you will have one completed piece. The workshop will close with a discussion on how to apply this shared experience in your classrooms.
