Trainings: Session Detail

Classroom Instruction that Works: Create a Cooperative Classroom for Integrated Learning

Classroom Instruction that Works workshop series: Prepare your students to function successfully in the 21st century! The information explosion has made the memorization of new facts of little value compared to the ability to understand, analyze, organize, apply, evaluate, and create new information. If the facts and tools our students will work with have not yet been discovered, our greatest gift is to prepare students with thinking skills which will provide an indispensable educational foundation. This training will give you tools to teach your students the thinking AND social skills they must utilize to be successful today and in the future. Participants will focus on benefits of cooperative learning and practice structures designed to promote inductive and deductive thinking.
