AAS/GT 6 hour update: Science Connections for Gifted Students Utilizing an Outdoor Classroom




The outdoor classroom provides opportunities for students to gain knowledge and obtain skills in a natural environment. Outdoor classrooms provide authentic learning opportunities for creative gifted children. Teachers will gain a deeper understanding of the needs of gifted students as they relate to creativity and instructional strategies as well as why visual-spatial learning is important.

Important Workshop Information:


We will be spending time outside throughout the day and walking through natural settings. Wear closed toed shoes and layers to be comfortable outside.

Session fees will be removed at checkout for districts that participate in the GT contract.
