Ethical Decision-Making Part 1 It's All About Me
Share
This workshop focuses on what you bring to the interpreting assignment. What values, cultural orientation, ethical & intellectual maturity level, soft skill, commuication patterns and boundaries help you make your decisions? What happens when values conflict with ethics? How do others view interpreters when a bad decision is made? It also celebrates the EXEMPLARY work of interpreters. This is the first of three workshops on ethical decision-making and is designed for interpreters at all levels: certified, pre-certified, students in interpreter preparation programs, as well as teachers of the Deaf.
