Join us for a hands-on workshop where participants will experience and receive a classroom-ready 5E lesson designed to engage students at the rigor of the TEKS using research-tested best practices. This lesson includes formative assessment that uncovers student misconceptions and components of Genetics and a touch of Meiosis. This is one part of the lesson series developed by ESC Region 4. Reporting Category 2 was reported the lowest throughout Region 16 at 60% mastery. Teachers will gain an understanding of how to implement effective learning activities that support a diversity of Biology students, including English learners and struggling learners.
