G/T Online: Designing Curriculum for G/T Students 19-20

In this course, you will learn about innovative and practical ways to design appropriately challenging curricula for gifted students and about the Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP) for gifted students. You will contribute ideas to group discussions, share your own experiences, and research related information. You will take a 10-question test at the end of the course. This workshop meets the state mandate (19 TAC 89.2(1) specifically Section 4.1.1C of the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students for teachers working toward the state required 30 hours of training for gifted educators.

For districts participating in the Advanced Academic (GT) contract there will be no charge, the charge will be removed at checkout. This is an online session. which will allow you to complete at your own pace.
