Math-in-CTE is designed to enhance the math inherent in the CTE curriculum. For this training we will focus on three readiness standards from the Algebra I TEKS. This workshop is a team approach. Please send both math teachers and CTE teachers. Teacher teams will work together to identify the naturally occurring math standards within the CTE course(s). Each team will leave this training with a lesson plan that outlines how to teach these standards “academically” as well as from a real-world perspective.
