Vision & Hearing Screening Re-Certification




This course is designed to re-certify screeners who have previously completed the basic certification courses for vision and hearing screening certification. In order to attend the re-certification training, participant's certification must be current. The certification remains in effect for five years. Participants will review the techniques and requirements for vision and hearing screening as mandated by the State of Texas. Participants will be certified to perform vision and hearing screening in the State of Texas upon successful completion of the course. Must have a high school diploma or GED to attend.

Important Workshop Information:


Please bring an audiometer, if you have one available. Also, must bring your current Vision and Hearing Certification cards. If certification is not current, the one-day Vision and one-day Hearing trainings must be taken instead of this training.
