Social Studies Book Club: Prisoners of Geography
Share
Have you ever wondered why the world is the way it is? Why are there constant conflicts? The answer is simple--geography. Not only has it shaped our history, but geography is still at the heart of geopolitics today. Whether you teach World Geography/History, US History, Government, or any other Social Studies class, Prisoners of Geography by Tim Marshall will increase your understanding of the affairs of the world and allow you to make more meaningful connections in your classroom. The Social Studies Book Club will "meet" online to discuss topics, share observations, and answer questions.
