How to Coach Unpacking Standards
Part 3: Formative Assessments




Leaders, have you been looking for a silver bullet? Sadly, we haven’t found it either. But, we have found that the more confidence teachers have in the understanding of their standards, the better students perform in those standards. During this session, we will work through protocols that help you prioritize which TEKS need a deep dive, and how to help teachers really understand what is being asked within the standards. Leaders will collaborate and work through protocols to learn a proven process for helping teachers unpack their standards.
