Trainings: Session Detail

(GT Update) Math Think-Alouds- Making Mental Processes Visible to Children. (Elementary Math Teacher)

Math think-alouds engage students and help them make their way step-by-step through a solution process. Verbalizing your solution process during think-alouds allows your students to “crawl inside your brain” and understand your thinking. Students can then see and hear the teacher's thought process and how that correlates to the actions of the teacher. Join me as we navigate through the many uses of Math think-alouds and see how it can be used to deepen a students mathematical thinking. ***This session will run as a 1-week self-paced virtual session. You can take as many virtual courses as you would like during this window.
