Pre-K Investigation: Using Science to Explore




This session will focus on science at the Pre-Kindergarten level. During this session, we will take a look at the state expectations through the Pre-K science guidelines, work through some engaging activities aligned to these standards, discuss how best to teach science in the event of school closings, and collaborate through discussion boards on ways to ensure your Pre-K students are ready for Kindergarten. The session will provide 3 CPE hours toward compliance with the 30-hour statutory requirements for PK teacher qualifications under TEC, Chapter 21, Subchapter B.

Important Workshop Information:


For districts participating in the IS contract there will be no fee, it will be removed at checkout. This course will be in Canvas platform and you will be enrolled a few days before the start date begins. Google Meet on Sept. 28 at 9:00 am.
