Texas Performance Standards Project Implementation Training for the Gifted Learner (GT Update)




This training was created by TEA to help districts meet the State Goal for services for Gifted and Talented (G/T) students, to encourage district administrators, leaders, and teachers to reimagine their gifted and talented services using the Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP), to offer overview of key resources and strategies used in TPSP implementation, and to present reasonable, realistic, and doable options for implementing the TPSP at the district, campus, and classroom level. The Texas Performance Standards Project is one tool to help students create advanced products. This course is aligned to the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students and meets state requirements for 6 hours of G/T credit.

For districts participating in the Advanced Academic (GT) contract there will be no charge, the charge will be removed at checkout. This is a face to face session from 9-4 on 2/25/2021.
