Biliteracy Day for Educators in Bilingual/Dual Language Programs: Join us at Region 16 for this full day of professional development, as Dr. Lora Beth Escalante provides educators with the knowledge and tools to empower English Learners in the development of cross-linguistic and metacognitive strategies that reinforce linguistic, cultural and academic background knowledge in both English and Spanish. This session will be partially presented in Spanish. Participants to this training will receive a copy of English/Spanish Linguistic and Academic Connections by Dr. Patricia Morales.
