It’s Deeper than “Cross Multiply and Divide!” Grades 6-8




Let’s take time to explore why proportional reasoning is more than just setting up a proportion to cross multiply and divide. In fact, proportional reasoning is a way for students to develop an understanding of multiplicative situations that can be used to facilitate algebraic thinking. Come join us for a day of learning to see how this relationship provides students with a deeper mathematical understanding. This session will be a face to face session on July 12th from 9am-4pm.
