Trainings: Session Detail

Power in Words: Teaching secondary students SEL skills through books

Behavior is a form of COMMUNICATION. When we learn to see behavior differently, we can identify a missing skill students need in order to do it differently. "If they knew better, they would do better!" Once the missing skill is identified, we can teach them a positive, pro-social, communicative replacement behavior through the power of reading and children's books!

Important Workshop Information:

Walk away with books and resources dedicated to teaching students the skills they need in order to be successful in the classroom, community and life.
