“Mentor texts” is more than a new buzz word for ELAR instruction. It is a tool for instruction. The purposeful implementation of mentor texts is an effective way to increase the reading and writing connection in your classroom. Come join us to learn some powerful tips about how to use mentor texts quickly and productively in your instruction! BONUS: You will receive a mentor text to use as you brainstorm reading and writing lesson progression ideas during the training.
