2022 Multilingual Learner Institute - Region 16 ESC - ESL Day




ESL Day for Teachers of English Learners at all levels - Valentina Gonzalez

On Day 2 of our Multilingual Learner Institute, Valentina Gonzalez will address research-based practices for reading and writing instruction of English Learners at all grade levels. She will walk participants through the components of balanced literacy and share the benefits and accommodations for each that increase the effectiveness of literacy instruction for ELs. Participants will receive a copy of her newly released book, Reading and Writing for English Learners.

Important Workshop Information:


This session will be provided free of charge to members of the Title III SSA as well as to districts who contract with Region 16 for Bilingual/ESL services. The discount will be reflected at check-out.
