Purposeful Play and Discourse in the Secondary Math Classroom
Share
From worksheets and online practice students can be disengaged in the learning process. As teachers we strive for problem solving connected learning. How do we engage students and still have rich mathematical discourse? Join us for a day of instructional strategies to promote mathematical discourse in your math classes by experiencing the excitement of engaging worthwhile mathematical tasks. Teachers will leave with activities designed to maximize student engagement and math discourse in the secondary math classes. The focus will be on Algebra 1 through Pre-Calculus
