Let'sTalk Text Complexity in Secondary




Teach students to read more rigorous text is a saying that is getting a lot of traction in secondary instruction. What exactly is a rigorous text? If my kids are struggling with below grade-level texts, how am I supposed to teach them to read texts that are more rigorous? During this session, I will go over the components of text complexity in a way that makes sense to the teacher while learning strategies to teach students how to access these texts.
