Fall Kickoff 2022




Please join us for the largest regional educator conference of the year for local educators to discover and experience innovative, influential and inspirational ideas and practices that support student learning.

The guest speakers this year will be Dr. Jill Siler and Michael Bonner. Dr. Jill Siler served as the Superintendent of Gunter ISD for nearly ten years and now serves as the Deputy Executive Director for Professional Learning for the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA). Dr. Siler’s first book, Thrive Through the Five, was released in 2020, and focuses on how to thrive through the most challenging seasons.

Michael Bonner is an energizing voice in education. Mr. Bonner has presented to more than 200 education conferences, school district meetings and leadership development audiences across the U.S. & Canada to share his "lessons learned" from teaching in a Title I school with children that experience high levels of trauma and adverse situations. Today, he lives in Atlanta, Georgia where he is thrilled to be a fourth and sixth grade English teacher at the famed Ron Clark Academy.

Fall Kickoff 2022 will include the announcement of Teacher of the Year and an afternoon of engaging breakout sessions. We hope that you can join us to kick off the new school year!

This event will be in person at Amarillo Civic Center. The cost of this event is $30 per participant. If a district brings their entire staff, discount options are available. Please contact Brandi Parker at brandi.parker@esc16.net, or 806-677-5085.
