Trainings: Session Detail

Rewiring the Brain for Impulse Control and Willingness!

Adults sometime believe that behavioral or academic problems are children being "defiant", "mischievous", or "trying to get attention". The inability to focus attention or have impulse control is more than laziness or willful disobedience, but rather they are missing the neural connections between the mind and body. Join me as we learn to stop trying to control a child's behavior, but "rewire" their brain for optimal development.

Important Workshop Information:

Join us as we spend the day learning about behavior and how we can foster self-regulation in all students. This training is geared for elementary but also relevant to a secondary setting.
