Reimagine the Redesign: Rethinking STAAR 2.0




In 2019, HB 3906 passed sweeping changes to the current format of the STAAR, including online assessment, new question types, cross-curricular passages, and evidence-based writing. These changes will be implemented in the 2022-2023 school year. In this full-day session, we will look at the changes and how they more tightly align to the classroom experiences. We will identify supports as well as possible classroom implications for all content areas. Participants will leave with strategies to help align best practices in ways that are technology friendly.
