Accelerate in Ten Minutes




The opening minutes of class or a tutoring session can change the trajectory of the lesson. While warm-ups, or bell ringers, do have some merit they are largely designed as self-regulatory work to keep students busy. What if you spent the first ten minutes of class with openers that were as compelling and riveting as possible? What if these activities sparked authentic involvement rather than compliance? Each concept you teach poses an opportunity to stimulate student thinking right out of the gate. Join us as we explore, review and create success starters for all students in any content area.
