Teaching Free Enterprise (with SMU Cox School of Business)

To be an effective social studies teacher, it is critical to understand economics.
Presented by SMU Cox School of Business, this 6 hour workshop will tackle 4 topics related to the economics strand of social studies.
In the morning session, Texas Tech professor Dr. Adam Martin will look at Economics of the American West and International Economics.
After lunch, we will be joined by Dr. Alex Salter, who will focus on two more areas--Macroeconomics and Constitutional Political Economy.
Lunch will be provided for all participants, and you will leave with free resources to use in your classroom.
