Creating and utilizing a sensory room can be confusing. Learn ways to effectively implement sensory activities using low and high cost equipment and materials. Working alongside your campus occupational therapists can be helpful, but we want to give you a head start with this course.
During this session we will discuss:
Overview of the sensory systems and how to be proactive vs reactive
Low cost and high cost options addressing each sensory system
Incorporating The Zones of Regulation into a sensory room
How to schedule and run an efficient sensory room
