Making Connections TEKS RS Collaborative PLC: Unpacking for Purposeful Planning in 3-12 Social Studies

This 5-part series is designed to help dive deeper into understanding your standards and create bit-size pieces to help with implementation and planning from the IFD. We will come together to collaborate and learn best practices to support learning in the classroom. The best part, you will be making connections with other teachers who are teaching what you are teaching. We will have new learning built around best practices each six weeks!

1st Six-Weeks: Participants will begin with taking a deep dive into their TEKS and sequencing concepts with the IFD Unit to develop learning objectives.
2nd Six-Weeks: New Learning - Exit Tickets aligned to the Learning Objectives.
3rd Six-Weeks: New Learning - Aggressive monitoring, utilizing some of the key understandings and PA's to help with collecting more formative data.
4th Six-Weeks: New learning - Development of assessments based on the information gained from the IFD.
