Trainings: Session Detail

AAS/GT Creative and Critical Thinking Fall 2022

This is the third of five trainings that comprise the 30 hours of G/T training required of teachers that are responsible for providing services to gifted learners. Although not every district specifically provides services for the creatively gifted, it is important to understand that creative and critical thinking patterns become a unique characteristic of gifted learners. You will share ideas to the discussion board, share your own experiences, and research related information. You will take a 10-question test at the end of the course. This workshop meets the state mandate (19 TAC 89.2(1) specifically Section 4.1.1C of the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students for teachers working toward the state required 30 hours of training for gifted educators. This will be a face-to-face session.
