Mission Amplify K-5 Part 2: Background Knowledge




In this series, we will look at different elements of the Amplify Texas K-5 Elementary Literacy Program, as well as offer opportunities for collaboration, problem-solving, and supports for teachers implementing or looking to implement this program. In the second session, we will dive into the research behind background knowledge and how the Amplify program supports this research. We will discuss best practices for building background knowledge and ways to increase our cross-curricular instruction.
