Meaningful Math-Making Math Meaningful for Students with Severe and Profound Disabilities




In this session, Ayo Jones will lead participants to learn how to better differentiate math instruction in a way that connects to grade level state standards while supporting students with complex access needs through prerequisite skills. Participants will also learn about, put together and practice playing math games to use in the classroom as part of instruction, to collect data, to target math skill acquisition and improve social skills. This session is appropriate for teachers and paraprofessionals in the elementary, middle or high school setting.
