Reimagine the Redesign: Science (5th, 8th, and Biology)
Fall Session




In 2019, HB 3906 passed sweeping changes to the current format of the STAAR, including online assessment, new question types, cross-curricular passages, and evidence-based writing. These changes will be implemented in the 2022-2023 school year. In this half-day session, we will look at the changes and how they more tightly align with the classroom experiences. We will identify supports as well as possible classroom implications for all content areas. Participants will leave with strategies to help align best practices in ways that are technology-friendly.

Important Workshop Information:


If your district has the instructional support contract, the fee will be removed at checkout. This session will be face-to-face from 9 AM-12 PM. Please bring your laptops or tablets fully charged to use throughout the session.
