Meeting the New STAAR: US History




Haven't you heard there's a new STAAR in town? Well, you'd better get acquainted before the second semester begins! In this 3 hour session, US History teachers (both 8th grade and HS) will explore the new STAAR item types and daily strategies to integrate them into their everyday classrooms, including short constructed responses. Attendees will finish up the workshop by delving into the Texas Formative Assessment Resource to design new STAAR items for testing.
