The ExtraCeptional© Paraprofessional: Working Collaboratively to Support Students in All Settings
Share
Paraprofessionals play a critical role in a student’s education, whether it be to foster participation, facilitate learning concepts provided by the teacher, or support physical or behavioral needs of students. In this seminar, participants will learn to differentiate between learning accommodations and modifications, acquire tips and tricks to help students stay motivated and on-task, and discover ways to increase student independence. Confidentiality, teacher collaboration, and communication techniques will be discussed and role-played. Spend time with fellow paraprofessionals and leave this session with a “sharper saw”, a renewed commitment to educating students, and go from exceptional to extra-ceptional!
