eLearning GT 30-Hour Training Day 1: Nature and Needs
Spring 2019




In this online course, participants will learn about the cognitive, social, and emotional characteristics of gifted students. Participants will contribute to the discussion boards, share their own experiences, and research information. The objectives will be met through Internet investigations, investigation of district information and practices, threaded collaborative discussions, quizzes, and assignments. This workshop is aligned to the Texas State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) teaching standards for Gifted Education and the combined standards set forth by the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) and the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC). This workshop meets the Texas State Plan requirements for 30-Hour Initial Training.

FEE REDUCED TO $40 FOR CSS DISTRICTS, $30 FOR TAILOR MADE, $20 FOR TAILOR MADE-GOLD, & $10 FOR TAILOR MADE-PLATINUM

Registration is open December 12th through January 25th.

Participants registered between January 14th and January 25th will be added by January 28th.

Course is open from January 14th through April 5th.

All grading will be complete on April 12th.
