CCMP Stakeholder Listening Tour - (TEA)
Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V)

CCMP Stakeholder Listening Tour- (TEA)

Important Session Information:

The College, Career, and Military Preparation Division of TEA will be conducting a statewide listening tour to inform the development of a new state plan required for the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V) and the development of statewide frameworks for STEM education and Work-based Learning (WBL). The team will gather information and feedback from stakeholders across the state on the major components of Perkins V, as well as current challenges and areas of success around implementing and expanding high quality STEM and WBL to all students in Texas. This face-to-face interaction will allow stakeholders to have input in the development of state policies, provide an opportunity to conduct a needs-assessment for support and resources, identify obstacles to regional cross-sector partnerships, and increase stakeholder buy-in. Will be open to the public, all stakeholders, including parents, college, workforce, industry representatives, and LEA staff.
