TExES Bilingual Target Language Proficiency Test Review (BTLPT)

This workshop is designed to assist teachers to become familiar with the four domains and competencies on the BTLPT Spanish (190) exam. Teachers will explore the content of the four domains (1) Listening Comprehension, (2) Oral Expression, (3) Reading Comprehension, and (4) Written Expression. Practice reading test questions will be covered as well as practice on listening and speaking constructed-response assignments. In addition, there will be hands-on practice on how to write in Spanish on a variety of constructed response written assignments, including a lesson plan. The focus of this workshop is not to improve Spanish proficiency but to give a clear understanding of the BTLPT Spanish (190) exam.

Important Session Information:

This workshop is intended for teachers who who are not required by the state to be bilingual certified, but whose students would benefit from teachers obtaining this certification.
