Characteristics of Quality Assessments

Participants will unpack the characteristics of high-quality assessments to assess rigor, progress toward Student Learning Objectives, and alignment to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). Outcomes: Define high-quality assessments and their characteristics. Apply the characteristics to critique sample assessments for evidence of the characteristics. Identify how to use their learning to refine student assessments throughout their schools.
