Campus Improvement Plan Training
District and Campus Improvement Plans, required under Title I-A, act as blueprints
for implementing strategies and activities in order to address district/campus
weaknesses. Beyond being a compliance requirement, good district and campus
improvement plans also provide direction on how to allocate federal funds. In
this session, ESC staff will provide attendees with Title I-A requirements for
the D/CIP, tools and checklists, and best practices for completing both plans.
Important Session Information:
The CIP training will assist LEAs and schoolwide campuses to be able to accomplish the following:

Address the Campus Improvement Plan requirements

Meet the requirements of operating a Schoolwide program

Describe strategies that the school will be implementing to address school needs

Provide opportunities for ALL children to meet the challenging State academic standards particularly the needs of those at risk of not meeting the challenging State academic standards
