How does your district handle referrals for special education testing? If you are looking to improve the timeline and integrity of the data in your process and/or if you want to ensure each student who needs testing will be identified without over-identifying, this session will address these issues, This pathway comes from the TIER (Targeted Interventions Using Evidence-Based Research) network's Introduction Module and will address (1) How data from the multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) inform the referral process (2) How MTSS data can be used as a component of student evaluation (3) How MTSs data can inform individualized education program (IEP) development for eligible students:
