Texas High School Diploma Essentials: Maximizing Options

This workshop is designed to help districts explore the options of the Foundation High School Program diploma in order to provide their students with the maximum options possible. Topics will include the options for courses, flexibility for offerings, building endorsement pathways and creating maximum opportunities for students. Connections to accountability systems including the A-F system and Results Driven Accountability (RDA) will also be discussed. If you are looking for answers to questions like: "What are the required courses for a high school diploma?", "What are endorsements and how do they connect to postsecondary success?", or "How can our high school offer the best options for students in both their high school diploma and their college, career and military readiness?", this is the session for you.
