PFIA Investment Officer Training




Region 18 ESC will be hosting an investment officer training taught by Mike Allison. The Public Funds Investment Act (PFIA) requires school district investment officers to receive ten hours of training within twelve months of assuming investment duties and eight hours of training every two years, thereafter. Training includes topics such as investment controls, security risks, strategy risks, market risks, diversification of investment portfolio, and compliance with the PFIA. Please keep your auditors happy. Make sure your training is up to date!
