This session is designed to provide educators, administrators, and special education professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the STAAR Alternate 2 assessment. The STAAR Alternate 2 is a state-mandated assessment specifically designed for students with significant cognitive disabilities, as outlined in their individualized education programs (IEPs). We will discuss the participation requirements as well as documents that help support the administration of the assessment.
