Empowering Families Through SPEDTex

Join Region 18 ESC for an engaging session designed to help families, caregivers, educators, and agency partners confidently navigate SPEDTex, Texas’ special education information center. Participants will take a deep dive into the SPEDTex resource to explore how it supports understanding of special education rights, processes, and services across the lifespan. This interactive session will highlight practical tools, real-life examples, and tips for using SPEDTex to ask informed questions, access support, and strengthen collaboration—all with the goal of empowering families and improving outcomes for students with disabilities.
