Work-Based Learning/Career Prep-Practicum Training

The TX Administrative Code requires that school districts are responsible for ensuring that each teacher assigned to Career Preparation, Practicum, Extended Practicum, and TEKS Based Practicum has completed appropriate training in state & federal requirements regarding work-based learning & safety. This requirement applies to CTE and/or Special Education instructors who will be teaching Career Preparation or any of the Practicum or TEKS based Practicum courses. Successful completion of the training will meet this requirement.
